Eric Edwards grew up in the city of Chicago. He attended Nash Elementary and Austin High School. Mr. Edwards graduated from The University of Illinois at Chicago with a Bachelors of Science Degree in Finance.
He began his professional career as a stock broker with Chatfield and Dean Investment Advisors in 1995. Mr. Edwards left Chatfield and Dean and started his career at J.P. Morgan Chase Bank in 1996.
During his time at J.P. Morgan Chase Bank he was promoted to the position of First Vice President. In 2006 Mr. Edwards began his community banking career at Park National Bank.
At this time Mr. Edwards began to realize that quality and affordable financial service wasn't being offered to the general public.
In 2016 Mr. Edwards began his mission of providing quality financial services by launching his own independent investment management business with Berthel Fisher and Company Financial Services.
Edwards Premier Financial Corporation was launched in 2019. Mr. Edwards received his Investment Advisor License and successfully partnered with one of the largest investment firms in the United States Interactive Brokers.
Eric is the father of 1 son, and 1 daughter, and a host of grandchildren. He has also volunteered his time to work at The Greater Chicago Food Depository to help stop hunger.
Mr. Edwards also teaches Financial Literacy classes to individuals in undeserved communities with The Prevention Partnership Inc.
He works with young adults to help them develop money management, banking, and basic investment skills to be successful in today's economy.

INTRODUCTION
Edwards Premier Financial Corporation. (hereafter “Edwards Financial”), is a fee-based Investment Advisor that offers two types of advisory services: Portfolio Management Services and Financial Planning Services.
Edwards Financial is a newly formed investment advisory firm, but the experience, education, and background of its principals and investment adviser representatives (hereafter “IA Reps”) can be found in the accompanying BROCHURE SUPPLEMENT document. Edwards Financial principal owner is: Eric Edwards (hereafter “Eric Edwards”). Eric Edwards owns 100 percent of Edwards Financial company stock. The corporation has been authorized 10 million shares of class A common stock, which 4 million shares are available for purchase at a present par value of $1.00 per share.
INITIAL CONSULTATION
Edwards Financial will begin by providing the client a free initial consultation. Edwards Financial uses the initial consultation to introduce the client to the Edwards Financial firm, its services, staff, gather information, the client’s investment objectives, financial condition, and risk tolerance.
Edwards Financial will then use this information in forming its investment advice and reach an agreement on the terms of service and compensation arrangements.
The consultation must be completed before Edwards Financial will make any specific recommendations about the client’s asset allocation or securities to buy or sell.
At the conclusion of the initial consultation, the client will sign Edwards Financial’ Investment Advisory Agreement, which serves as the contract between the client and Edwards Financial, specifying the precise nature of services to be rendered by Edwards Financial and fees to be paid by the client.
